Kevin Doherty is the Managing Director of Codem Composites, an engineering firm firmly at the forefront of carbon fibre component manufacture, serving the motorsport, satellite communications industry as well as other commercial and bespoke applications.

Codem Group is an Engineering Technologies Group established over 10 years ago. Originally focussed on the development of Advanced Materials usage in the Defence, Automotive and Motorsport industries. By embracing additional technologies Codem has broadened the provision of engineering solutions to more complex problems across a wider range of markets:

Codem Composites is a specialist engineering company focused on carbon fibre component manufacture, serving the motorsport, satellite communications industry as well as other commercial and bespoke applications. Codem Environmental is the UK’s leading partner for Luxibel UVC disinfection systems. Luxibel UVC disinfection systems are specifically designed to disinfect air and surfaces and prevent secondary infections and eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungal and mould spores in the air.

Kevin has over 25 years of experience at Senior Management and Board level within the Composites Industry. His expertise lies in developing innovative manufacturing methodologies to the Composites industry and cross-pollination of materials and techniques across market sectors.

Kevin was previously a member of the Management Board of the Nottingham Technology Ventures whose function was to de-risk technology developed by Nottingham University in order to create revenue streams for the University through licencing, or organisation spin-offs.

Kevin’s involvement with TextureJet stems from his passion in composites technologies and his understanding that the development of parallel technologies such as STAT is vital to the continued growth of the composites industry.

In his spare time, Kevin is also an active member of the World Frog Racing Championships committee which is an annual fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support.
